Conservation work requires a slightly different mindset because while you may be carrying out both minor or major work to an existing structure, it requires a lot of effort and pre planning prior to any works starting on site. To ensure that all contractors on site know exactly what work their doing, how they are doing it and what they can’t do. This will include that all service routes and risers throughout the building are agreed and will prevent any damage to the original structure and fabric of the building.
